Job Description

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to join our team on a contract-to-permanent basis in Frisco, Texas. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in accounting processes, and maintaining compliance with company policies and industry standards. If you have a strong background in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliation, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities: - Process and manage accounts payable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments. - Oversee accounts receivable functions, including generating invoices and tracking outstanding payments. - Perform account reconciliations to ensure financial records are accurate and up to date. - Handle billing activities, ensuring invoices are prepared and sent in a timely manner. - Maintain accurate financial records and prepare reports for management as needed. - Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve accounting processes. - Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. - Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities to support accurate financial reporting. - Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices. - Provide support for audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting functions. - Strong knowledge of billing processes and account reconciliation. - Proficiency in accounting software and tools, with the ability to learn new systems quickly. - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders. - Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance requirements. - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
