Job Description

The design team creates purposeful and impactful experiences for our customers, providing innovative, visually appealing, intuitive and on brand designs for the business.

You will manage all aspects of the team ensuring they have everything needed to produce their best possible work and while running as efficiently and effectively as possible. You will focus on production of assets for our websites as well as media for our social platforms, imagery, banners, CPPs, in-App event cards and email communications.

Your strong design skills, ideally across multiple disciplines will be essential for the team. You will manage projects and people to ensure high-quality execution of marketing initiatives. You will demonstrate excellent attention to detail, collaborate effectively, and lead a growing team.

The salary for this role is $90,000 - $125,000 annually.

Preferred Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

• Comprehensive experience in web, app, social, digital marketing or merchandising experience with proven experience in management at an agency or corporate environment with a portfolio to showcase.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Productivity focused - able to prioritize to meet tight deadlines with multiple balls in the air.
• Excellent level of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch or similar software. Exposure to Blender, After Effects or Premiere Pro a plus.
• Good understanding of design lifecycle, design systems and content management systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with peers across design and the wider business as well as coaching and mentoring the designers.
• Well organized and self-motivated to work autonomously.
• A proactive approach to problem solving and learning.
• Approachable and a positive attitude.

Main Responsibilities

• Managing the brand design process from briefing and concept to final aesthetics.
• Providing design feedback and guidance to the team in line with brand identity and design standards to drive business results.
• Working closely with UI/UX team and creative team members throughout entirety of projects.
• Managing design team workload while being hands-on with design skills when needed.
• Mentoring, supporting and developing the team in all aspects of their roles.
• Contributing to design briefings, project meetings, creative justification and design walkthroughs.
• Collaborating cross-team to understand briefs, concepts, requirements, timelines and brand identity.
• Reviewing and suggesting improvements to processes and best practices within the team.
• Staying up to date with the latest design trends, techniques and technologies to maintain innovation and embrace creative tools as they arise.
