Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Copywriter to support the social media initiatives for a large investment bank. This temporary role offers the opportunity to contribute to multiple business units, including Investment Banking, Capital Markets and Investment Management. Based in Midtown Manhattan with a hybrid work schedule (3x per week), you will combine an understanding of financial markets with social copy development, storytelling and digital engagement. In this role, you will collaborate with a diverse team of strategists, creative partners and compliance experts to craft compelling content that resonates with your audience, all while ensuring adherence to brand and regulatory guidelines. Responsibilities:

• Work alongside cross-functional teams (strategists, designers, stakeholders) to write impactful social media copy, including LinkedIn posts, video scripts and infographics
• Ensure all copy adheres to the client’s brand tone, voice and messaging standards
• Stay up-to-date with trends in investment banking, capital markets and asset management to generate relevant content ideas
• Collaborate with strategists to pitch new content concepts, post series and messaging frameworks
• Present data-driven content ideas to senior leadership, backed by insights and industry knowledge

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field
• 2+ years of professional copywriting experience, ideally with a focus on social media. Experience in financial services is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with financial concepts, especially in investment banking, capital markets and asset management is a big plus but not required
• Ability to simplify complex financial topics into engaging, accessible content for a broad audience
• Ability to analyze performance metrics (engagement, conversions, sentiment) to optimize content
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a proven ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• Strong writing ability, with flexibility to adapt tone and style across different audiences and platforms
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
