Seeking an Auto Mechanic to complete general maintenance and repairs on standard vehicles (no diesels or heavy equipment) to join our growing automotive repair business.
Do you have at least 2 years' experience working on cars either professionally or personally? Are you reliable, dependable and motivated to continuously learn and grow your skillset? Job Requirements:
- At least 2 years' general maintenance and auto repair experience
- Open to work weekends and evenings
- Open to working a flexible schedule; between 8am-10pm, possibly rotating shifts
- Experience using a vehicle lift
- Valid Driver's License
- To pass a DMV record check
- To pass a background check
Preferences:
- Service writer experience
- ASE degree or certification
- Completion of Automotive school
- Computer skills
Job Duties:
- Safely complete general maintenance and auto repairs
- To lift at least 50 pounds throughout the day (removing tires and heavy parts)
- Data entry: assist customers, look up and order parts
- Customer service; explain diagnostic results and answer questions, provide quotes
- Bill customers out; using credit card machine
- Use PPE and maintain a safe workspace
- Operate the vehicle lifts
- Maintain a clean shop, clean up spills etc.
- Test drive vehicles for diagnostics
Hours:
- Full-time (Friday-Tuesday)
Pay:
- $20.00 (plus) per hour Depending on experience
