JOB SUMMARY

The CDL Driver – Oxygen Delivery is responsible for the safe, timely, and compliant transportation, setup, and retrieval of oxygen cylinders, concentrators, and related durable medical equipment (DME) to warehouses locations. This position requires strict adherence to DOT, FDA, and safety regulations regarding the transport of compressed gases and medical devices. The CDL Driver represents MasVida Healthcare Solutions in the field and plays a vital role in ensuring reliability, patient safety, and exceptional customer service.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Safely load, secure, transport, and deliver oxygen cylinders and DME to hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and patient residences.

· Retrieve empty cylinders and equipment; complete inspection and documentation of returned items.

· Adhere to all DOT requirements, including vehicle inspections, hours-of-service logs, placarding, and hazardous material handling.

· Follow company protocols for infection control, PPE, and cylinder handling procedures.

· Maintain accurate delivery records, proof of delivery, condition reports, and compliance forms.

· Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are safe and in compliance with DOT regulations.

· Communicate effectively with dispatch and branch teams regarding delivery status, delays, or issues.

· Report equipment damage, safety concerns, or customer feedback to the Branch Operations Manager or Area Director.

· Assist warehouse staff with loading, staging, and cleaning equipment when not on delivery routes.

· Represent MasVida with professionalism, courtesy, and empathy in all customer interactions.

QUALIFICATIONS & KEY COMPETENCIES

· Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement required .

· 1+ years of commercial driving experience; medical gas or DME delivery experience preferred.

· Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT drug/alcohol testing and background check.

· Ability to safely lift and maneuver equipment and oxygen cylinders weighing up to 100 lbs.

· Strong knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and FDA regulations related to medical gas transportation.

· Dependable, safety-focused, and customer-service oriented.

· Comfortable using handheld devices, route tracking systems, and basic documentation tools.

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Flexibility to work varied schedules and participate in on-call rotation as needed.
