Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Associate to join our dynamic team in Los Angeles or Irvine. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience handling complex commercial litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, managing discovery, conducting depositions, and representing clients in court. Strong analytical, research, and writing skills are essential, as well as the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

The Litigation Associate will handle complex commercial litigation from inception through resolution.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex commercial litigation from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, manage discovery, conduct depositions, and represent clients in court.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategy.
• Collaborate with partners and multidisciplinary teams to develop effective, innovative legal solutions.
• Advocate for clients in negotiations, mediations, and hearings.
• Manage client communications and ensure strategic alignment throughout each matter.

Must Haves

• 4+ years of commercial litigation experience, preferably in contract disputes and business torts.
• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the California State Bar.
• Exceptional analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Strong advocacy and case management skills.
• Ability to thrive both independently and in a collaborative environment.

Salary and Compensation Package

The annual salary for this position is between $200,000 - $290,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
