Communications Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a communications specialist with 3 or more years of experience for a contract to hire role for our financial services client. This is hybrid in Philadelphia, PA; 4 days onsite 1 days work from home. This is a great role that offers the opportunity to work with a results-oriented and dedicated team.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the creation and dissemination of employee communications related to company's initiatives, product launches, policy updates, internal programs, key milestones, and major events.
• Develop key communication materials, including press releases, internal emails, talking points, Q&A documents, and interview briefings.
• Manage company intranet site and digital signage platforms.
• Assist with the creation and distribution of internal and external messaging to key audiences.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Political Science, Health and Science, or related fields
• Experience with social media platforms (LinkedIn, X) and email marketing software (e.g., MailChimp) preferred.
• Demonstrated excellence in writing, editing, and proofreading content across a wide range of complex subjects.
• Possess strong interpersonal and leadership abilities, demonstrating maturity and the capacity to collaborate effectively with peers, managers, and executives, while also excelling in independent work.
• Extremely high attention to detail.

Experience:

• 3-5 years experience in communications, public relations, or a related field.

Employment Type: Contract to hire

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
