Job Description
Title of Job: Field Superintendent
Reports To: Project Manager/Director of Construction
Job Responsibilities/Essential Functions (Other Duties May Be Assigned)
· Effective communication with Project Manager, customers, and crews to ensure a complete understanding of the scope of projects
· Coordinate subcontractors as needed and ensure they are fully executing and complying with the scope of work
· Ability to recognize problems outside of scope and effectively address with the team
· Provide detailed written daily and weekly reports to Project Manager
· Ensure all materials needed are on site on time in order to maintain a schedule
· Ability to schedule crews to meet project schedule
· Ensure that each team member is aware of quality standards and company policies and ensure the quality of workmanship from the crew
· Create and maintain positive relationships with employees, customers, suppliers/vendors, and subcontractors
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment
· Identify and rectify job hazards on an immediate basis
· Professional demeanor, selling style, and appearance
· Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and vendors
· Must be self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals
· Effective organizational planning, communication, and superior time management
· Demonstrated ability to complete projects on time and under budget
· High level of integrity and work ethic
