The Emergency Department at Montefiore Medical Center is one of the top five busiest in the United States and the most-visited in the state of New York. Drawing approximately 275,000 visits from patients age 21 and over each year from Westchester, Manhattan, Connecticut, and the Bronx, our Board-Certified physicians' dedication to providing excellent emergency services to the surrounding community is unsurpassed.
Patients come to our Emergency Department with a broad spectrum of ailments and injuries, ranging from cold symptoms to heart attacks. Our cardiac services are particularly remarkable, as we offer the highest possible level of care, with the availability of emergent cardiac catheterization 24x7, an Arrhythmia service, a Congestive Heart Failure service, and the performance of cardiac transplants.
We are seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine provider with a Fellowship in Addiction Medicine to join our collegial team of 32 physicians at our Moses or Weiler campus in the Bronx, NY. You will be responsible for developing and managing the Addiction Medicine projects in addition to providing medical education to our Medical Students, Residents and APPS. A variety of shift choices: 8, 9, 10 or 12 hours. 34 clinical hours for 46 weeks. However, depending on your background, we may be able to support additional protected time for administrative duties. Fully trained support staff of over 21 PAs, 11 NPs and over 87 RNs, LPNs and PCTs.
In addition to a highly competitive salary of $315,000, we offer an addition 10% bonus and night differentials. We also offer a full benefit package including paid malpractice insurance, paid CME, 403(b) with employer contribution and academic appointment at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
