Role: Esri/GIS Developer

Length of contract: 6 months
Alldus International is seeking an experienced Esri/GIS Developer to support our client in the Electrical sector on a six-month contract. If you are passionate about GIS technology and integrating spatial solutions within Maximo Mobile, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
Implement Esri integration with Maximo to enable mobile spatial workflows.
Configure and manage Maximo Spatial add-ons to display GIS layers, feature classes and spatial attributes in Maximo Mobile.
Design map-centric interfaces for visualizing Maximo work orders, assets and service requests on GIS maps.
Develop custom JavaScript-based map interfaces within Maximo Mobile using React.js and XML configurations.
Customize map content, labels and overlays to align with user and business requirements.
Ensure smooth offline GIS data management to support uninterrupted field operations.
Utilize Esri REST APIs to embed GIS functionalities into mobile applications.
Extend Maximo Application Framework (MAF) to integrate GIS attributes into Maximo records.
Enhance the mobile user experience by leveraging Maximo Spatial capabilities.
Conduct spatial analysis to generate insights, such as proximity-based work order assignments.
Skillset
In-depth knowledge of the Esri ArcGIS platform, including ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Server and ArcGIS Portal.
Practical experience with IBM Maximo Spatial add-ons and their integration with GIS data.
Skilled in JavaScript (React.js), XML, and Python for GIS development and automation.
Strong understanding of spatial data structures, feature classes and basemaps.
Ability to analyze and resolve GIS-related challenges in Maximo implementations.
Excellent interpersonal skills for cross-functional teamwork with engineering, product and field teams.
Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, evolving GIS and mobile technology landscape.
Experience in Water, Wastewater and Gas industries is a plus.
