Hello, this is Holden, Operations Manager, from Little Masa Collegetown.

We are searching for a part time prep cook.

Little Masa is adjacent to Florida State University and is surrounded by a dense population of students, university faculty, construction laborers, and state/federal government employees. We are a fast, casual, counter service Asian-Fusion restaurant.

Compensation

• $14.00 to $15.00 per hour
• Daily pooled tips ranging from $3-$6 per hour in addition to the above wage

Responsibilities

• Organizing food and disposable product deliveries
• Prepare meats, vegetables, and sauces
• Dishwashing of kitchen tools
• Breakdown and cleaning of prep area
• Organization and cleanliness of walk in refrigerators

Qualifications

• Experience with the demands of professional food preparation
• Own a sharp knife or know how to sharpen a knife
• Attention to detail and organization
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment and utensils
• Ability to follow recipes and a prep-list
• Aspirations to learn new skills such as stir-fry, tempura fry, and sushi
