Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and drive the company’s engineering vision, technical roadmap, and architectural direction.
• Lead, mentor, and scale cross-functional engineering teams (Backend, Frontend, DevOps, QA, Cloud, Platform).
• Oversee product development lifecycle - planning, execution, delivery, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Business teams to ship high-quality, customer-centric products.
• Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, performance metrics, and operational excellence.
• Implement scalable engineering processes to support rapid growth and innovation.
• Guide decisions on technology choices, architecture, infrastructure, and system design.
• Ensure robust security, reliability, and compliance across platforms and systems.
• Manage engineering budgets, resource planning, and vendor relationships.
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven experience building and scaling engineering teams in high-growth tech startups or enterprise software companies.
• Strong expertise in modern software architectures, cloud technologies (AWS/GCP/Azure), and distributed systems.
• Hands-on technical depth in one or more areas: SaaS, AI/ML, full-stack development, platform engineering, data engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects with tight timelines and high impact.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and decision-making skills.
