Premier Home Health Care Services, Inc. is a leading established Home Health Care Agency. We currently have opportunities for HHAs and PCAs within the Ronkonkoma area.

Home Health Aides and Personal Care Aides are required to possess a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick, ability to read, write and carry out directions and maturity and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job. Additionally, all HHAs and PCAs must satisfactorily complete the standard Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) certification program.

Travel: The employee must have a valid driver’s license issued by the state in which they work and a satisfactory driving record.

Requirements :

• Current HHA/PCA certification

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Appropriately assist clients with personal care activities and provide companionship tasks in accordance with the care plan.
• Appropriately assist with household tasks directly related to the client’s health and in accordance with the care plan.
• Accurately measure and record temperatures, pulse, respiration and blood pressure.
• Utilize equipment in an appropriate and safe manner.
• Perform simple procedures as an extension of therapy services.
• Remind client for self-administration of medication.
• Document services provided accurately.
• Report any changes in the client’s condition or incidents immediately.
