Job Description

Vaco has partnered with a manufacturing company and they are looking to hire an HR Generalist.

The HR Generalist will be a key member of the Human Resources team, responsible for providing day-to-day HR support across the employee lifecycle. This includes onboarding and offboarding, payroll processing, employee relations, and general HR administration. The ideal candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish preferred), highly organized, and passionate about fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage new hire onboarding and orientation processes
• Support employee offboarding, including conducting exit interviews and processing terminations
• Serve as a point of contact for employee relations issues, escalating as needed
• Administer biweekly or weekly payroll and ensure accurate timekeeping
• Maintain and update employee records in HRIS and physical files
• Assist with compliance-related matters, including labor law postings and documentation
• Support benefits enrollment, leave tracking, and workers' compensation claims
• Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve employee engagement and retention
• Serve as a liaison between HR and other departments to ensure effective communication
  

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or related role
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required or strongly preferred
• Experience with onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, and payroll
• Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws
  

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
