Key Responsibilities:

This role will evolve over time and offers broad exposure across the investment lifecycle.

• Analyze asset performance trends, monitor KPIs, and interpret aging and settlement data to uncover actionable insights.
• Support the evaluation and pricing of charged-off consumer portfolios and niche credit investment opportunities.
• Develop and refine financial models used for scenario analysis, cash flow forecasting, and return optimization.
• Improve internal models used for investment valuation and performance tracking across different vintage segments.
• Create investment decks and internal presentations that communicate findings clearly and concisely.
• Track and evaluate the performance of multiple active entities, each with distinct capital structures and strategies.
• Assist in preparing reports for lenders, including borrowing base compliance and covenant monitoring.
• Integrate third-party data sources into pricing logic and asset-level assumptions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (legal, operations, and accounting) during execution and ongoing reporting cycles.
• Assess recovery timelines and historical trends to help inform portfolio pricing and capital pacing.
• Take on special projects including refinancing efforts, lender due diligence, and evaluation of new purchase opportunities.

Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of experience in a finance-related role; exposure to structured or specialty finance is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a similar quantitative discipline.
• Strong interest in credit investing and a strategic mindset focused on balancing risk and return.
• Experience interacting with investment teams and/or lenders is a plus.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; capable of building dynamic and complex financial models.
• Familiarity with analytical tools such as Power BI, SQL, Tableau, or Power Query is beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• This role offers significant autonomy and direct access to senior leadership.
