We’re seeking a creative, detail-oriented Junior Studio Photographer to join our in-house team. This role supports both the execution and organization of daily studio photography operations, from product shoots and staging to retouching and file management. You’ll work closely with the photography team to ensure all studio processes are efficient and meet brand standards. This role will also act as a photo assistant to our on-location photographers.

Please note, this role is based on-site 5 days a week in our headquarter office in Farmers Branch.

Responsibilities

  • Capture in-studio product photography; maintaining a high-quality standard and ensuring images adhere to Loloi’s brand guidelines.
  • Retouch product images and ensure proper product color
  • Organize and manage files as part of the studio/retouching workflow.
  • Set up and break down lighting, staging, and equipment for shoots
  • Assist with product staging, preparation, and packing
  • Maintain, clean, and organize all studio spaces and equipment
  • Update project management software regularly with project status
  • Assist the photography team on location shoots—handling lighting, equipment setup/breakdown, and onsite problem solving.
  • Travel Required: Expect periodic travel (≈ 20% of your time)
  • Time Allocation: Roughly 50 % in studio shooting, 20 % location assisting, and 30 % retouching across projects.

Experience, Skills, & Ability Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in visual communication, Photography, or related field required
  • 1–2+ years of experience in a commercial photography studio or agency setting
  • Strong technical knowledge of lighting, digital cameras, and file management best practices
  • Proficiency in Capture One and Adobe Photoshop
  • Detail-oriented with an eye for color accuracy and image consistency
  • Strong communicator and reliable team player with a positive attitude
  • Able to take direction and work independently
  • Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs. and standing for extended periods
  • Previous experience in home goods/decor a plus
  • Must be in or willing to relocate to Dallas, TX
