Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Logistics Manager to lead and support inbound and outbound logistics operations across our Marana and Tucson, Arizona locations. The role involves managing domestic and international transportation, warehouse coordination, receiving functions, and compliance with FAA and other regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage logistics operations and resources across multiple sites.
• Coordinate transportation with selected Logistics Service Providers (LSPs), including export/import clearance and documentation.
• Monitor and improve delivery timelines, freight costs, and overall logistics efficiency.
• Oversee warehousing, customs brokerage, and transportation while adhering to HazMat regulations.
• Collaborate with customs brokers to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
• Lead Receiving Team operations in compliance with FAA and company standards.
• Analyze and act on receiving metrics to maintain smooth material flow.
• Schedule and manage internal transportation using company drivers and vehicles.
• Communicate regularly with Purchasing and Operations to align delivery priorities.
• Promote and enforce safety standards and practices within logistics and warehouse environments.

Work Conditions

• Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, kneeling, and use of hands.
• Environment: Office, tool room, shipping/receiving areas, maintenance hangars, and outdoor facilities.
• Equipment Used: Telephone, computer, office machinery.
• Safety Hazards: Potential for exposure to noise, odors, extreme temperatures, and moving machinery.

Required Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; logistics or supply chain coursework preferred.
• Experience: 5+ years in logistics and/or international trade, preferably with multi-site operations.
• Skills: Strong management, communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Licenses: Valid driver’s license required.
• Other: May require occasional travel to both Marana and Tucson, AZ.

Preferred Attributes

• Self-motivated and capable of leading teams independently.
• Experience with logistics metrics and performance tracking.
• Familiarity with FAA quality systems and safety compliance protocols.

Note

Additional duties may be assigned based on department needs. Flexibility to work varied shifts and adapt to changing logistics conditions is expected.
