Job Description

An industry leading Food and Beverage manufacturing firm is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor

  • Greater Twin Falls, ID area
  • Leadership Level

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and execution of maintenance activities to ensure smooth operation of production equipment and facility systems.
  • Perform hands-on work involving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, including troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Lead a team of 8-12 maintenance staff, assigning daily tasks and overseeing progress on repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to quickly resolve equipment issues and minimize downtime.
  • Maintain and improve preventative maintenance schedules for systems such as steam, air, refrigeration, water, and production machinery.
  • Conduct inspections, diagnose faults, and ensure timely completion of work orders and safety checks.
  • Uphold safety standards and report any concerns to appropriate personnel, ensuring compliance with OSHA and internal policies.
  • Take part in special projects and contribute to continuous improvement efforts across the facility.

Skills and Requirements

  • Experience & Education :
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in a technical field is a plus.
    • At least 5 years in industrial maintenance, with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
    • Background in food or dairy processing is preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency :
    • Skilled in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including 480V equipment.
    • Familiar with preventative maintenance systems and industrial safety standards.
    • Ability to read schematics and perform basic welding and fabrication.
  • Leadership & Communication :
    • Strong team leadership and coordination skills.
    • Clear communicator with the ability to prioritize tasks and solve problems under pressure.
    • Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools for planning and reporting.
  • Physical Demands :
    • Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs and working in physically demanding environments.
    • Regular climbing, bending, kneeling, and walking required.
    • Must be able to work in varying weather and facility condition
