Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead day-to-day maintenance operations within a high-speed food manufacturing environment . This individual will manage preventive maintenance, direct troubleshooting efforts, and oversee facility upkeep—all while ensuring equipment performance aligns with strict food safety and production standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule maintenance team members across multiple shifts, ensuring efficient response to production needs
• Manage preventive maintenance programs and documentation through a computerized maintenance system
• Provide hands-on support and guidance with diagnostics, repairs, and equipment upgrades
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives around uptime, reliability, and equipment life cycle
• Coordinate internal teams and third-party contractors for installations, repairs, and capital projects
• Track departmental spend and support cost-effective decision-making for parts and services
• Build and maintain vendor relationships for specialized services, training, and support
• Assist in CMMS development and inventory system build-out

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 2+ years of supervisory experience in industrial maintenance (supervisor title required; lead roles not sufficient)
• Direct experience in food manufacturing or processing is required – dairy, beverage, bakery, or similar highly preferred
• Strong understanding of GMP standards and food safety protocols
• Proficient with electrical diagnostics, PLC troubleshooting, VFDs, HVAC, and general plant utilities
• Capable of creating PM schedules, tracking equipment history, and managing MRO inventory
• Skilled in using Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual (Spanish/English)
• Experience designing or expanding preventive maintenance workflows in CMMS
• Hands-on approach with a focus on mentoring and training newer techs

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $78,000 – $113,600 (commensurate with experience)
• Full benefits including health, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k)
