About the Firm

We are currently working with a San Francisco–based private equity firm that is seeking to add a Due Diligence Associate to its investment team. The firm is known for its operationally focused investment model, and manage capital across multiple strategies, with a strong track record of successful investments across a number of core industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the evaluation of new investments across all industry verticals by managing key workstreams.
• Lead key aspects of financial, legal, tax, and commercial due diligence on prospective investments.
• Partner with investment teams and operating professionals to prepare portfolio companies for exitjack@hamptonreidltd.com.
• Assist in portfolio performance monitoring and ongoing value creation initiatives post-close.
• Contribute to internal process improvements and knowledge-sharing across deal teams.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of experience in financial due diligence, transaction services, or deal advisory at a Big 4 or top-tier accounting or consulting firm.
• Demonstrated experience supporting private equity clients on M&A transactions.
• Strong financial and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail and project management capabilities.
• Outstanding academic credentials from a top undergraduate institution.
• Self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and a desire to work in a collaborative, high-performance environment.
