About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality System Specialist to join our team on-site and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to controlled substances. This position plays a critical role in maintaining operational integrity and regulatory adherence across the facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the complete lifecycle of controlled substances, including receipt, storage, dispensing, record keeping, ARCOS reporting, and disposal .
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations .
  • Conduct internal audits to verify compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for employees on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for controlled substances.
  • Experience in quality systems, auditing, and training .
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience managing controlled substances in a pharmaceutical, healthcare, or laboratory setting.
  • Experience with cGMP and regulatory recordkeeping requirements

Education Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field (e.g., Pharmaceutical Sciences, Quality Assurance).
