About the Role

We are seeking a professional, friendly, and highly organized Receptionist to join our team. This role is the first point of contact for our clients, guests, and staff, and plays a vital part in ensuring a welcoming, efficient, and polished office environment. You’ll provide front desk reception services, support attorneys and staff with administrative needs, and help maintain smooth office operations.

Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and assist guests, clients, and employees—both in person and over the phone—while handling inquiries or directing them appropriately.
  • Offer hospitality by attending to coats, luggage, and beverages, ensuring a positive client experience from the moment they arrive.
  • Manage and maintain the reception area, conference rooms, and break rooms to keep them clean, organized, and client-ready.
  • Coordinate building services including maintenance requests, work orders, and freight elevator bookings.
  • Support mailroom and courier functions: sorting and processing incoming/outgoing USPS mail, FedEx, and other courier deliveries.
  • Handle catering requests and set-up for meetings, as well as restocking supplies in pantries, conference rooms, and break areas.
  • Provide concierge-style support as needed, including reservations, car service arrangements, and travel assistance.
  • Assist attorneys and staff with scheduling, document production, copying, scanning, and other clerical support.
  • Maintain updated contact directories for attorneys and staff.
  • Submit supply orders and ensure office supply areas remain fully stocked.
  • Respond to additional requests to support smooth daily operations and a professional client experience.

What We’re Looking For

  • A polished, professional demeanor with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • 2-5 years front desk reception and office administration experience
  • Law firm experience is preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset with a proactive and helpful attitude.
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn internal systems).
  • Previous experience in a law firm, corporate office, or hospitality setting is a plus.
