The Role

We’re looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to develop and deploy end-to-end ML pipelines and models using diverse datasets, including alternative data sources. You’ll also be responsible for establishing and optimizing our MLOps infrastructure to ensure efficiency, scalability, and reliability.

What You’ll Do

• Lead initiatives to integrate and enhance large language models, embedding systems, and semantic search capabilities within our suite of products.
• Architect and implement advanced multimodal search and intelligent agent systems to extract meaningful insights from both structured and unstructured financial datasets.
• Spearhead development of next-gen agent frameworks on the Farsight platform, focusing on modularity, complex function execution, and flexible AI system design.
• Improve AI precision and retrieval quality by continuously incorporating real-world feedback, ensuring outputs are accurate and contextually relevant.
• Rapidly design and test novel AI-powered features that streamline operations for leading financial institutions.

What You Bring

• Hands-on experience working with proprietary LLM APIs and customizing open-source models through fine-tuning.
• Deep familiarity with vector databases and embedding-based search platforms such as FAISS, Pinecone, Chroma, Weaviate, PGVector, and others.
• Built and deployed retrieval systems that handle multiple data formats—including structured datasets, numeric information, and free text—within a unified interface.
• Strong command of Python, with practical exposure to libraries and frameworks like PyTorch, Hugging Face, TensorFlow, and LangChain.
• Consistently engaged with the latest advancements in artificial intelligence, from academic research to emerging technologies and tools.
• Comfortable navigating uncertain or evolving project scopes, with a track record of independently delivering complete solutions.
• Skilled at articulating complex ideas clearly, enabling smooth coordination between engineering teams and business stakeholders.

• $250,000 – $300,000 base salary
