Job Description

A general architecture design firm in Columbus, OH area is looking for Sr. Design Architect to join their team! They provide design services to various clients and handle wide range of projects including corporate offices and industrial facilities. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of / experience in conceptual design, construction planning / detailing, and documentation and administration This is a full-time, direct hire position.

Sr. Design Architect Responsibilities Include :

• Design and execute various construction projects
• Collaborate with internal and external teams and departments including engineers, general contractors, surveyors, etc.
• Manage and understand the knowledge of construction details, regulations, quality, budgets, schedules, etc.
• Visit the construction sites as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Sr. Design Architect Requirements Include:

• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in architecture, design or related field
• Minimum 5 years year of experience architectural design
• Understanding of project management in construction (budget, estimate, schedule, etc.)
• Be able to use Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
• Ability to travel occasionally as needed
• Must have valid driver’s license, passport
• This position includes manufacturing and construction work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, lift in excess of 50 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
